Tickets for the Lac du Bonnet Ice Fishing Derby are available through Ticket Tailor ! Secure your spot in one of Manitoba’s largest and most exciting ice fishing events, where anglers of all skill levels come together for a great cause and a chance to win fantastic prizes.
How to Purchase
Click on the ‘BUY NOW” link on the front page or scan the QR code from our Ticket page to purchase your tickets quickly and easily—processing fees are on us, so you can enjoy a seamless and affordable checkout experience.
You can also buy Tickets in person on Friday, February 21st at The Lakeview - LdB between 6-8 pm.
Registration will open at The Lakeview on Saturday, February 22nd at 8:00 am and will close at 11:30 am.

Adults and Children can double their chances to win by purchasing a 2nd Hole Ticket along with their Adult or Child Ticket.
A 2nd Hole Ticket allows you to fish up to two holes at the Derby. The 2nd Hole ticket must be in the same name as an angler who has an Adult or Child Ticket.
Anglers with second hole ticket can win more prizes. Your name will be entered into our random prize draw twice, plus if you catch more than one fish for the Hidden Length and Time Cash Prizes, you could be eligible to win up to two cash prizes if your recorded lengths and times match.

Prizes will be distributed from two trailers located on the ice at the end of the Town Dock.
Prize Announcements will begin before noon. If you hear your name called, please bring your identification to the Prize Distribution Trailers, where our volunteers will assist you in claiming your prize.
We’d love for you to pose for a photo with your prize so we can share the excitement on our website!

Yes you can use live bait. We will have salted minnows for sale at Registration and on the ice; watch for signs or stop one of our volunteers to ask.

Electronic devices may be used at 10:00 a.m. for the determination of depth in selecting a hole, as well as during the Derby.

No. We predrill all of the holes the morning of the derby. All you need to do is show up and fish.
If you plan on fishing in an ice tent, we’ll even do our best to accommodate your fishing group by drilling more holes in your tent area! Just flag down one of the volunteer drill teams, and ask them for a few more holes!
Remember Tents and on Ice shelters CANNOT be put up until the official start of the derby at 11:30 am.

🚨 Smooth & Easy Entry on Derby Day! 🎣 🚨
Our dedicated volunteer team works hard to ensure your arrival goes smoothly so you can get on the ice as quickly as possible!
When you arrive at the Derby site on the morning of the event, choose one of three entry options based on your ticket status:
✅ Already Have Your Ticket on Your Device?
Head to the Derby Entrance area and show your Official Derby Ticket at check-in.
You’ll receive a wristband, which must be visible at all times.
Spectator Ticket Holders
You will receive a sticker, which must be visible on your clothing at all times.
Anglers & Spectators can access the ice and choose a fishing hole anytime after 10:00 AM.

Tickets will be available for purchase in the Registration Area starting at 8:00 AM until 11:30 AM on Derby morning.
Once you have your Official Derby Ticket, you may proceed to the Derby Entrance area to get checked in.
Our goal is to get you checked in quickly so you can focus on fishing, fun, and winning big! 🎉🐟

Anglers are allowed entry onto the ice to select a hole at 10:00 am. Fishing is not allowed until the start of the Derby at 11:30 a.m.

Tickets are available in the Registration Area starting at 8:00 am and will be available for purchase until 11:30 am on the morning of the Derby. Once you have your Official Derby Tickets, you may enter the Derby Site or line up at the Derby Entrance area. Your electronic ticket will be scanned and you will be given a wristband which must be visible at all times.

Derby Start – 11:30 am - Drop Your Lines & Setup Shelters
Random Prize Draws – 11:30 am to 2:30 pm – we’ll be conducting our random prize draws on the ice!
Derby End – 2:30 pm
Draws & Entertainment: 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
Cash Prize Awards – start at 4:00 pm (or so, as our volunteers need some time to go through all the records!) We will announce all our Cash Prize Awards from the stage at the Outdoor Patio on the street in front of The Lakeview!
Location – LdB ICE is hosted near the Lac du Bonnet Town Dock and Beach on Park Avenue; you can’t miss us!

We will be selling Raffle Tickets for a guaranteed $3,000 Cash Prize! Watch for our Raffle Ticket Sellers in the PINK vests. They will be more than happy to have you entered for the draw. The draw will take place at approximately 3:30 pm on Derby Day.
You can also purchase raffle tickets at select locations throughout Lac du Bonnet.

How it works:
✔️ Tickets are $10 each (CASH ONLY) – 104 cards will be sold in total.
✔️ Our volunteers will sell cards on one side of the grid, and once all are sold, we’ll draw for the first auger.
✔️ After the first draw, we’ll sell tickets on the other side of the grid, followed by the second draw.Don’t miss your chance to win an auger
